1. Who is publishing this

Empire Apps, published by Aditya Sharma, an Indian sole proprietor. Place of business: India.

2. What you can use Pooja for

Personal devotional practice, household almanac reference, mantra study, priest booking, and 80G donation to listed temple trusts. The 108 mantra catalogue and panchang are available for personal use without payment. Commercial republication of our editorial catalogue requires written permission.

3. What you cannot use Pooja for

• Scraping the panchang or mantra catalogue for inclusion in another product.
• Reselling our priest booking under a different brand without our agreement.
• Using our 80G receipts for non-existent donations (tax fraud).
• Misrepresenting yourself when booking a priest or making a donation.
• Anything illegal in India.

4. Pricing and refunds

• Pro and Family are billed annually via Razorpay. 30-day full refund, no questions asked. Email hello@taxwalaai.com.
• Priest bookings are charged at the time you confirm. Refund available up to 24 hours before the scheduled puja. Within 24 hours: priest discretion (their dakshina, their call).
• 80G donations are non-refundable once the trust acknowledges receipt.
• Temple-Admin B2B tier: 30-day money back; after that, prorated refund minus actual bookings consumed.

5. Priest marketplace specifics

• Priests on the platform are independent contractors, KYC verified through Razorpay sub-merchant onboarding.
• Empire Apps is the platform; the priest is the service provider. The puja is performed by the priest, not by us.
• Razorpay Route splits the dakshina on-ledger: priest 85%, platform fee 10%, GST 5%.
• The platform may suspend any priest whose rating falls below 4.4/5 sustained over 30 days, or who breaches the priest code of conduct.

6. 80G donation specifics

• Empire Apps acts as a facilitator. Donations go directly to the trust's verified Razorpay account; we collect a Rs 0 platform fee on listed-trust donations.
• We auto-generate a Form-10BE-compatible PDF receipt via Adobe PDF MCP. The trust remains the issuer of record under Income Tax Rule 18ABA.
• For 80G claim eligibility, please consult a chartered accountant. We are not your tax advisor.

7. Disclaimers

• Tithi calculations in v1 are approximate (~30-45 min accuracy near transitions). For wedding muhurat, verify with your family priest.
• Vrat and festival dates are cross-checked against Drik Panchang Nagpur and one more regional panchang.
• Pooja is not a spiritual authority and does not interpret your astrological chart.
• Trust filings are verified at listing time. We re-verify annually but cannot guarantee mid-year regulatory changes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Empire Apps's total liability for any claim arising from your use of Pooja is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months, or Rs 5,000, whichever is greater.

9. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
